What are the Opinion Polls saying and what does this mean for the Pound?

Final opinion polls suggest that Theresa May's Conservative party is on course for a decent win, boosting its previous 17 seat majority in the House of Commons.  The more Tory seats won, the greater May's hand in Europe when Brexit negotiations get underway in 2weeks time. Sterling is responding well to the news and is currently trading at 1.1522 on the interbank market.
